Epoxy Primer

Nippon EA4 Finish is a two-pack amine-adduct cured epoxy finish for use on steel and cement surfaces where chemical, oil and abrasion resistant coating is required.

Nippon 8048 Zinc Prosphate Primer is a high build epoxy coating capable of providing up to 250 microns dry film thickness per coat. It combines superior barrier properties with excellent wetting and adhesive characteristics. It can be applied over wire brushed rusty steel where abrasive blasting is not possible.

EA9 Red Oxide Primer is a two-pack amine-adduct cured epoxy designed for use as a high-performance primer for many types of surfaces i.e. aluminium, galvanising, steelwork, concrete, GRP and phenolic sheeting.

Aqua Epoxy Primer is a two-pack waterborne modified amine cured epoxy finish for use on concrete floor surfaces, which provide good adhesion to the substrate. Acid-treatment should be done prior to application. It is suitable for use as a tie coat between concrete substrate and water-based topcoat, such as Nippon Aqua Epoxy.

Penetrative Epoxy Primer is a two-pack amidoamine cured epoxy finish for use on concrete floor surfaces, which provide good adhesion to the substrate. Acid-treatment should be done prior to application. It is suitable for use as a tie coat between concrete substrate and solvent-based topcoat, such as Nippon EA4 Finish.

Nippon Etching 120 Primer is a two-pack polyvinyl butyral based, acid-catalysed etching primer. It has excellent adhesion to blast cleaned steel, galvanized steel and light alloys and thus provides a suitable base for most coatings to adhere satisfactorily.

A high solids epoxy primer/coating formulated with Masterbond binder technology. Transpoxy Masterbond has excellent anticorrosive properties and good impact- and abrasion resistance. Good adhesion to St3 prepared steel substrates and compatible with most aged coatings.
